Contributing to Scholarship Fund
If you would like to contribute to the scholarship fund this year, you can mail your check payable to the "Virginia Tech Foundation", marking it specifically for the Tidewater Chapter Scholarships. Mail it to: Virginia Tech Annual Fund, 201 Pack Bldg., (0336) Blacksburg, VA 24061.
Additionally, you can support the scholarship program locally by sponsoring/attending the chapter's two fundraising events, the Annual Auction / Social (February) and the Annual Alumni Association Golf Tournament (June).
Applying for a Scholarship
If you are a senior in high school, have received an official offer of admission to Virginia Tech and reside in either Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, or Virginia Beach, you may qualify for one of our annual scholarships. Applicants must have at least a 3.7 GPA and an 1100 SAT score (Combined Math and Critical Reading score only). If you meet these qualifications, download a copy of the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association's scholarship application.
