CHANGE IN TIME!!! WE WILL NOW BE VOLUNTEERING FROM 8:00AM TO NOON.

The Salvation Army partners with 13 NewsNow, Joy Fund, MyTVZ, and the United States Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots to provide Christmas assistance to families in need. . For the past 13 years, the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association has helped at this event. We would like to form a group to help out once again this year. This year the Salvation Army needs help packing food boxes, sorting stockings, and packing the Angel Tree Tag gifts.

They will need volunteers from 8:00AM-12:00PM on December 4th. It is truly amazing what we are able to accomplish in such little time.

This year’s event is in a new location at Military Circle Mall. The address is 880 N. Military Highway, Norfolk, VA.
