One of our top priorities as a chapter is to help bright, local students attend Virginia Tech. Our scholarship program has awarded more than $125,000 in scholarships over the last decade. With your help, we can do even more.
A special thank you goes out to the chapter’s alumni and friends, who have given generously of their time and resources during the last year to make these scholarships possible. We would also like to thank our chapter’s generous corporate sponsors.
Ut Prosim Award
The Chapter awards an Ut Prosim scholarship to one student the scholarship committee feels emulates the phrase Ut Prosim the most.
Hokies United Memorial Scholarship
We lost 32 precious souls on April 16, 2007. Hokies from all over wanted to help in any way they could. The Tidewater Chapter started receiving donations from many donors with the instruction to use these to help future Hokies. Over time we have set aside those proceeds until we could seed an endowment. We have $14,277 and need $25,000 to start our own “Hokies United” endowment. The Tidewater Chapter hopes to raise $25,000 by the 10 year anniversary of April 16th.
